Sunny Room in a Friendly Shared Home Looking for a cozy and peaceful place to stay in Nantes? We're offering a bright and quiet 12m² room with a lovely view of the garden. Facing west, it gets plenty of sunshine in the afternoon ? perfect for relaxing after a day of classes. The bathroom (with a bathtub and a window!) is shared with another female housemate, Shivani. So we'd prefer to welcome another female student to keep a good balance in the house. All bedding and towels are provided, so you can settle in comfortably without having to bring your own. About the Home & Neighborhood We're located in the calm and residential Saint-Donatien / Rond-Point de Paris area ? a charming neighborhood known for its historic character, tree-lined streets, and friendly atmosphere. It's ideally situated between the vibrant city center and most major universities, engineering, and business schools. You'll find everything you need within walking distance: bakeries, supermarkets, local shops, and cozy cafés. The area is also well-served by public transport, making it easy to get around Nantes. The neighborhood is close to both the Erdre River and several green spaces ? perfect for walks or bike rides. Who You'll Live With The house usually hosts 3 to 4 international students. At the moment, we have guests from India, Madagascar and US. It's a friendly and respectful environment, and while there's no obligation, we sometimes enjoy cooking or sharing meals together. Shared Kitchen & Our Furry Friends The kitchen is fully available to everyone in the house. Each housemate has dedicated space in the cupboards and fridge to store their groceries, so everything stays organized and easy to find. It's a great place to cook, chat, or just enjoy a cup of tea. We also share our home with two friendly cats, Chad and Fluffy. They usually stay in the garden or the kitchen and don't go into the bedrooms unless invited. They're calm and affectionate, and they add a cozy touch to the house! Extras Space to park your bicycle in the garage Access to a washing machine and a tumble dryer The garden is open to everyone ? a lovely spot to relax or study outdoors A cleaning lady comes 3 to 4 times a month to take care of the shared spaces, helping keep everything tidy and pleasant for everyone.
